CABA Education
The CABA office assists current and potential undergraduate and graduate students with information on education and teaching programs in aquaculture and fisheries on campus. Career opportunities with an undergraduate degree cover a wide range of options, such as aquaculture production specialists, resource biologists and managers, environmental consultants, and researchers and professionals pursuing advanced degrees in academic disciplines and professional schools (Veterinary Medicine, Engineering, Economics, and Business Administration). Undergraduate students specializing in aquatic biology and aquaculture may choose a major in areas such as Animal Biology, Animal Science, Biological Systems Engineering, or Wildlife Fish and Conservation Biology. Programmatic flexibility allows undergraduate students to develop a strong background in specific aspects of aquaculture or fisheries while being exposed to discipline-, mission-, or production-oriented majors. Graduate students have access to researchers affiliated with departments and graduate groups campus wide who focus on aquatic issues.
