Student Scholarships Currently Available
Each year CABA coordinates the award of several student scholarships which are generously sponsored by sporting groups.
2025 Diablo Valley Flyfishing Club Wisecarver Memorial Scholarship
The Diablo Valley Flyfishing Club (DVFF) based in Walnut Creek, CA. sponsors this annual scholarship in support of a UC Davis graduate student conducting research in fisheries biology and/or riparian or limnetic ecology, with projects that benefit California’s recreational fisheries. One scholarship will be issued in 2025 for $3,000.
2025 Bob Bittner Scholarship
Created to honor the memory of Bob Bittner this annual scholarship Is awarded to UC Davis graduate students and recognizes research interest and general excellence in the academic pursuit of fisheries biology and/or riparian or aquatic ecology.
